Meet the Director

Mallory Messick (EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR / ARTISTIC DIRECTOR)

Mallory Messick has been teaching and directing youth and college theatre in the Austin, Houston and Chicago area for many years now. Mallory graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in theatre and dance and since then has been teaching theatre and dance in Austin, Texas. She is a voice coach and has her own voice studio in San Marcos. Mallory absolutely loves working with kiddos and watching them grow into who they are. She has worked on Movie, TV, commercial and film throughout her career as well as stage. She developed her passion for theatre at age 13 when she played Mrs. Mayor in Seussical JR. Mallory is so excited for you to join us at San Marcos Youth Theatre. Some of her recent directing credits include, Aladdin at Kids Acting Austin, Little Mermaid at Kids Acting Austin,  Fundraising Cabaret with Jeremy Torres lab theatre, and Pop Rock show at Texas Sate University.
